Go to their website it explains the difference in FAQ. The Fed is, indeed, the black hole of America. I've written explanations of how the Fed works, which I think are fair, and I critique its actions weekly on The Great Recession Blog, but it's hard to get America to care. Stop and think about how trillions of dollars have been created out of thin air, given to banks in obscurity at will with almost no? Congressional or court oversight. Tell me that so much money moved around freely in secret is not the biggest magnet in the world for corruption.

Nope, this video is misleading, if you watch the full clip of Ben talking about GAO auditing you will see that he says he is fine with an audit by the GAO, but that passing judgement on monetary policy would be destructive the economy. THIS video said, "against these warning of having an audit..." that is incorrect Ben said it was monetary? take over of the gov that would be destructive not the audit. Look at Latin America that took over monetary policy they all had hyper inflation because of it
