Research Shows Fluoride In Water Is Dangerous!

Fluoride and the Pineal Gland

Fluoride was heralded as the way to save a generations teeth from tooth decay, and studies found that naturally occurring fluoride in water seemed to lower the incident of tooth decay of the population drinking it.

Governments were excited about the prospect of cheaply and efficiently protecting children's teeth, by adding fluoride to drinking water. Fluoride has 4 isotopes--2 naturally occurring and 2 manufactured). Cheapest of these isotopes (is made from industrial waste).

Ever noticed the warning on toothpaste containers about never swallowing the toothpaste? --That is because FLUORIDE IS TOXIC.

Fluoride effects the pineal gland-- a small structure in the brain. It produces melatonin, a a hormone that controls: circadian rhythm--wake, sleep cycles, the beginning of puberty, and the immune system.

Over half of U.S. citizens suffer from some form of sleep disorder.

The question is Why? Worldwide sleep is at pandemic levels.

When you suffer lack of sleep because melatonin levels are down your immune system begins to weaken. The condition is linked to depression, stroke, and heart disease all because melatonin levels are too low. In younger females this can bring on premature puberty.

A 1955 study showed young girls who drank fluoridated water begin having their periods an average of 5 months earlier than their same aged peers who did not drink fluoridated water. Early onset puberty in young girls has been linked to breast cancer and obesity.

A recent study, published in the American Journal of Public Health, showed early menstruation nearly doubled the odds of someone becoming obese.

Scientists, knew that Fluoride could affect the pineal gland wanted to learn more about that process.

Dr. Jennifer Luke, Ph.D., discovered the pineal gland attracts fluoride and that interferes with melatonin and its functions. She also learned, (during autopsy studies) extremely high concentrations of fluoride, averaging 9,000 ppm (parts per million) and ranging all the way up to 21,000 ppm were found in the pineal gland of the autopsied victims.

Studies of Mongolian gerbils (the best research animal for studying effects on the pineal gland) given the chemical, showed lower than normal levels of melatonin and early onset puberty.

The question is does fluoride cause the early menstruation we are seeing? There is an obvious connection between insomnia and the amount of fluoride found in the pineal gland. Which seems to contribute to the nationwide epidemic of sleep deprivation.

This means you need to find a way to reduce your fluoride intake. A simple kitchen faucet filter is not enough. You will also need a shower head filter (as not to breathe in the vaporized fluoride)--and make sure no one takes a bath.

Installation of a whole home water filtration system will eliminate most of the synthetic fluorides (40%-60%). Some naturally occurring fluorides will remain. We should be speaking to our elected officials making them aware of the danger and demanding the cease adding it to the drinking water.

An aluminum salt system supposedly removes all fluorides, but is apparently so dangerous that no reputable expert is willing to recommend it.

The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) is currently testing fluoride for its potential to interfere with the human hormone system.

High Fat Diets. Do They Cancel The Health Benefits Of Fish Oil?

The study has suggested that a high fat diet, and in particular a diet high in saturated fat foods, can cancel many of the heart benefits of omega fish oil.

There are plenty of well known heart benefits of fish oil supplements. These heart benefits include a reduction in cardiovascular disease and this includes both fatal and non fatal heart attacks as well as a reduction in the risk of strokes.

But although taking daily omega 3 fish oil supplements may well offer these health benefits you may not be getting all these benefits if you eat a high fat diet. In particular a diet high in saturated fat.

A new study has now come out. It studied rats with heart failure and looked at the correlation between a diet high in saturated fat and the benefits of fish oil supplementation.

The study was conducted by scientists from a range of institutions led by William C. Stanley, Ph.D., from the University of Maryland-Baltimore. It concluded that even though the benefits of fish oil for the heart are known, these benefits can be canceled out when a high saturated fat diet results in the fat levels in the heart blocking out the heart benefits of the fish oil taken.

The reason, it was concluded, was because the fat blocked out the capacity of the heart cells to absorb the helpful fats in the fish oil.

The scientists studied rats that had heart failure, so it's difficult to know if that result can be extrapolated to humans who don't have heart failure and who take Omega 3 supplements.

But there's also no doubt that a diet high in saturated fats isn't good for the health and so even if you don't have heart disease and you already take Omega 3 supplements there are good reasons why you ought to be eating diet low in saturated fats.

So if you do that you get both the health benefits of a low fat diet along with the health benefits of those healthy polyunsaturated Omega 3 fats from your fish oil supplements, so you're getting the best of both worlds.

It might not sound much, but that adds up to a weight loss of almost 20 lbs in about two months. Whatever you do, as you try to lose weight after baby, don't go too fast! Rapid weight loss, more than 2 pounds a week, will usually return as even more weight. When in doubt, slow down.

Don't look for over night weight loss results. Slow weight loss is the best weight loss. Begin a reasonable exercise program, which should include at least 3 days of activity per week. As you progress, add more time and repetitions.

As you begin trying to lose weight after baby, you might feel discouraged by your lack of progress. If so, look for ways other than the scale to see improvement. You might find it helpful to measure your bust, waist and hip measurements. Sometimes, if the scales haven't budged, you'll find you've lost half an inch from somewhere (although if you're breast-feeding don't expect to lose any inches from your bust until you've weaned your baby off the breast).

You may also find it helpful to use your clothes to judge how successful you're being - there's nothing more motivating than putting on a pair of trousers that once fitted you, only to find they're now too big.

I've been overweight for most of my life and throughout that time have experimented with diet pills. I quickly found out that diet pills have many dangerous side effects. I've been lucky to have bought diet pills that haven't been pulled from the market for various reasons. Diet pills can be extremely risky and can even cause heart attacks and death. Here are 10 reasons why you should not buy diet pills.

1. Diet pills can over control your hunger. I'm one of those people who lives to eat rather than eating to live and took diet pills to control my hunger. The only problem was I didn't want to eat at all. After taking these diet pills, I literally had to force myself to eat. I just couldn't handle it. Starving yourself is not the right way to lose weight. Also it takes a while of starving yourself to see results.

2. Diet pills can be very expensive. I've seen several commercials promoting diet pills that cost $149 a month. If you have a lot of weight to lose, this can really add up. For example, if you have 100 pounds to lose and lose 10 pounds each month, you'll spend $1490, plus shipping.

3. The results you receive from diet pills are short term. Once you stop taking those diet pills you will gain the weight back.

4. People depend on diet pills, rather than learning new techniques. If you learn to exercise and eat healthier, you'll lose weight safely. Diet pills sometimes claim you can continue to eat the same foods, such as double cheeseburgers and ice cream, but once you've hit your target weight and stop taking the pills, those habits are still there and the weight will come back.

Muscle Building, Kill Your Gains In Sixty Seconds

To achieve success when you're working out in the gym is a matter of seconds. That's true! In the same way a fraction of a second during a 100 metre dash will make or break a sprinter's race, that fraction determines muscle building success or failure and determines also your body's muscle growth.

That's right, your workout session maybe lasts for about an hour, but there's a small fraction of time in your session that really matters and that's something you have to know in order to achieve the best results. How you handle that seconds would mean poor, mediocre or great results.

Let me try to explain. Every set of exercises that you perform in the gym will give you benefits on the last 1-2 reps. Why? Because muscles respond to stress, so, the first reps you perform are nothing but a mechanism to trigger the stress your muscles need to grow.

Reps 1-4 are only performed in order to get to reps 5 and 6. But there's more than meets the eye in that. The last reps you perform in a set actually are the ones that will determine if the results of your workout are or not the results you desire.

In other words, it is only the very last 1-2 reps that will ultimately yield a muscle building response from the body. The longer you can push yourself to battle the weights during this small time frame at the end of each set, the greater results you will achieve.

There is simply no better way to trigger your body's adaptive responses than to train until your muscles cannot move the weight another inch.

The closer and closer that you can come to muscular failure, the more dramatically your body will respond. This time frame is literally measured in single seconds. If you drop the weights 5-6 seconds earlier than the next guy (the margin is probably even smaller than this), you'll be significantly sacrificing your muscle growth.

Well, if we assume that you perform 10 total all out sets per workout and have a margin of 6 seconds between success/failure per set, this gives you 60 seconds of total time per workout to either battle through with full effort or to surrender and settle for mediocre results.

It really is true; your bodybuilding success is literally measured by the short, precise moments at the very end of each set and the amount of effort you are willing to exert during this time.

You have to train really hard and with full effort every single day. When your muscles aches and you can feel they're burning, if you feel the weight really heavy, that's the right moment to give your maximum effort until true muscular failure is reached.

If you can't move the weight another inch, if your muscles ache and you feel them burning, you are going in the right direction to true muscular failure.

That's the right moment to give your maximum effort. If you give up then, if you take a rest, then you are compromising gains. If you don't, you'll achieve the best possible results.

This can sometimes lead us to ignore those obvious injuries and pretend as if they aren't really there as we often "work through" the pain and hope that it magically disappears.

Is Eating Fish The Best Way To Get Your Omega3 Fatty Acids?

It's a good question isn't it. Fish is contaminated with mercury, so should we be eating fish to get those good omega3 fatty acids in our diets?

And if eating fish is a bad idea because of the mercury, how else do you get that Omega3 in your diet?

There are other places to find Omega3 fatty acids, like some plant sources, but by far the best place to find the right types of Omega3 is fish.

However although it sounds good getting your Omega3 fatty acids through eating fish there is a problem. You see most, pretty much all, fish is contaminated with various chemicals that we, human beings, in the main, have put into their ocean.

According to the EPA all fish has some mercury contamination.

And it's not a good idea to get mercury into your body, particularly for children. Your body doesn't get rid of it.

However the EPA doesnt recommend that you eliminate all fish from your diet. Fish is healthy, in small quantities, and if you follow some simple guidelines you should be ok eating it. Just dont eat too much.

It's ok to eat 2 serves a week, but for pregnant women and children they do offer some extra guidelines.

So for pregnant women, or children, you ought to avoid eating shark, swordfish, king mackerel, or tilefish. These are high in mercury.

But you can eat fish,in small amounts, you don't need to eliminate it from your diet.

But that doesn't answer our question, should you eat fish for your Omega3 fatty acids? Because there's another problem. Fish is scarce and getting scarcer, so it's expensive.

It's fine to eat fish but eating it just for those Omega3 fatty acids is expensive. There are better ways.

There is mercury in fish, but small amounts. There is a way to get your Omega3 fats into your diet with no mercury, and at a lower cost.

User Omega3 fatty acid supplements. Fish oil capsules. These have fish oil in them, but the best ones have levels of mercury that are basically undetectable. They are sourced from fish stocks in the most pristine ocean in the world, the southern ocean, and they are put through an extremely robust molecular distillation process that removes anything that may be there. They are very clean.

But be aware that although many fish oil supplements claim to be contamination free, there are varying standards, none binding, and not all fish oil supplements are truly contamination free.

So unless you really love fish, if youre just eating it for the Omega3 fatty acids it contain, youre better off using the best fish oil supplements on the market. Use them daily to get your good fats. Its cheaper than eating fish, and you arent getting any mercury at all.But if you love fish eat it, just be careful.

Zero is no pain, and 10 is unbearable pain. 1-4= functional, 5-7=extreme discomfort and difficulty with functionality, 8-9=pain so great that the person is bed-ridden.

What is the significance of Medical History? Medical History helps the health practitioner to better understand the historical factors effecting a persons pain, such as the time of day when the pain is at its worst, the medications that the person is taking, what forms of treatment has helped the patient, and what forms of treatment have not helped the patient.

What does Observation have to do with the Assessment? The observation of an externally rotated foot can indicate a leg length difference that could have a factor on Lower Back Pain. The trained eye can observe a Forward Shoulder rotation, which can reveal posterior Shoulder Pain as well as Thoracic Back Pain. A Gait Analysis can reveal a limp or favoritism of a limb. What is Palpation and what does it involve? Palpation is the analysis of soft tissue by feel and is an important part of the information gathering process. Texture, temperature, and tone are important factors that let the practitioner know the health of the soft tissues that are involved with a persons chronic pain. The Joint Mobility Test is a critically important diagnostic Palpation test that is used to determine whether or not the spinal column is a chronic pain syndrome contributor.

Effective Chronic Pain Management is impossible without a systematic, Diagnostic Based Pain Assessment. A divide and conquer treatment strategy for the reduction and possible elimination of chronic pain can no longer be attained without an organized Diagnostic based Pain Assessment. The battle against chronic pain is a daunting task without an organized Diagnostic based Pain Assessment, and has direct impact upon the ability and skill of clinical and medical massage therapists to provide patients with new hope, strategies and tactics in the battle against chronic pain.

Interestingly, it is simple, almost anyone can put out a candle with just a little bit of practice. Also interesting is the fact that as that is where most people stop, with the simple accomplishment being able to do it once, that is where they should begin their study, for doors are about to be opened.

The basic principle of putting out a candle is to stop your fist an inch from the candle and let the woosh of air drain oxygen from the candle, and thus extinguish it. This is a very low level of ability, however, though, if pursued it can lead to higher ability. It is possible to put out a candle from across the room.

When you stop the fist you are using muscles, and thus what you are doing is primarily on a physical level. To attain higher ability through this trick you must not concentrate on stopping the muscles, but on letting the mind go. This is how you unloose your intention, and that is the key to real higher ability.

Try stopping your fist two inches from the candle. The air is not be effected because your fist is too far away. Now, to make the candle flicker and go out, you must rely on intention.

Thus, you must break free of the desire to improve the flesh, and concentrate on the desire to alter the things that you perceive outside your body. And perceptions, at least the kind necessary to put out a candle across a room, work best through space.

Through space, a vacuum, nothingness, emptiness. Not air, or even brick or wood, or other things which, though they appear real, are merely ideas held in place to support the idea of your real body.

What I have said here is alien concept to most people, and it even frightens some, for it strikes to the heart of the matter of our existence in the cosmos. The heart of the matter of our existence in the cosmos aside, space, that nothingness in which we place the universe, is the most important thing...behind the structure of the universe. So place the candle across the room, still the mind until it is as peaceful as a coal mine at midnight, and practice launching your relaxed and certain intention, and a few dozen hours practice will enable you to see what I am talking about.

Learning how to Slow Walk Two

I was in Willits, California putting on a karate demonstration for a couple of hundred kids the second time I ever slow walked. As I finished the showing the kids what karate was I noticed a fellow standing at the far end of the gymnasium. Standing alone, he was big and rather ominous.

I noticed that he didn't have a kid, so what was he doing at a demo for kids? Curious, I began to walk slowly towards him. Time began to stretch, and I walked slower,and it stretched further and further. Even though he was only a hundred feet away, it seemed to take forever to reach him.

I reached him, and he was sweating and starting to shake. I introduced myself and threw out a big grin and a hand. He was so relieved that he almost fell over when he took my hand.

The fellow was a tree faller, and turned out to be one of the nicest fellows I had ever met. The reason he was at the demonstration was because he wanted to see karate. Living out in the woods, he had never actually seen it.

What I had first done to him when we had met was the thing that most interested him the most. It seemed like the world was caving in on him, he later told me. He had almost, he later admitted, lost control of his bladder.

Slow walking is easy to do if you practice a classical karate that has been made true. This means you must align the time and shape of your form, and make sure you know what the moves mean when you translate them into actual usage. If you learn how to do this then you learn how to control your body, and thus you learn to get outside the flesh of your body and experience your true body, which is true bubble of your perceptions.

Time is a method for measuring the universe. Time is something that we perceive. If you can control the universe, and it starts with controlling your body, then you can control time.

You must first enter The True Art, however, by perfecting your art, and then increase your personal magnitude. Detox diets are used to cleanse toxic chemicals from one's body. Some detox regiments include the use of special drinks, or pills and liquids only. Once the body is cleansed is the dieter allowed to bring food back into their diet. Detox diets are intended to reduce the toxin levels within the colon and liver. The diets claim to improve your energy or your immunity. It is suppose to reduce the toxin levels in the colon and liver.

A public heath expert Roger Clemens says "the lungs, kidney, liver, gastrointestinal tract, and immune system are effective in removing our neutralizing toxic substances on their own." If they body can do it all on it own, then is this detox just a bad fad?

With so many different diet programs available, it's hard to know which one will be right for you. I have spent the last month on the Nutrisystem diet program and would like to share with you what I've learned.

Nutrisystem is a unique plan which requires you to buy their particular food products. The most common method of ordering is to buy a month's worth of food at a time, which includes 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, 7 dinners and 7 desserts. You can choose a pre-planned program (women's, men's, diabetic, vegetarian or senior) or simply choose the foods that sound good to you. You have the option of ordering online if you prefer, or you can speak to a representative over the telephone. A month costs about $300 if you have your meals auto-delivered. There is currently a special offer, which gives you an entire week of food for free. The website quotes that you will receive your shipment within 7-10 days of placing your order (mine took about 7 days).

Here are some of the benefits and drawbacks I experienced on the program:

BENEFITS

-Nutrisystem is definitely a good way to lose weight if you can stick to the plan. Even if you don't follow it exactly as the prescribe and choose not to exercise, you will still most likely lose a significant amount of weight.

-The foods are low in calories and fat and high in protein and fiber.

-You get to eat 5 times throughout the day, so you are never too hungry.

-You are also allowed to eat fruits, veggies and dairy products as prescribed along with the Nutrisystem foods, which adds nutritional value and helps fill you up.

-There is support available online in the form of counselors, informational articles and discussion boards.

-You aren't required to attend any meetings or counseling sessions like you do with Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig.

-You can cut down on your trips to the grocery store, as nearly all of your food (with the exception of fruits, veggies and dairy) will be delivered right to your door.

-None of the meals need to be refrigerated, so they are easily portable. You can keep your meals in your purse or backpack all day without worrying about them spoiling.

-You can return any unopened foods that you don't like for a full refund. However, you must pay for shipping costs and your return must be postmarked within 30 days of the date that you received your order.

-You can order items ala-carte if you prefer, but you must pay a hefty shipping cost for each item.

DISADVANTAGES

-In my experience, the food was not very good. I have been eating diet foods for many years, so I assumed that I would be able to follow the program fairly easily. However, I found many of the foods to be almost inedible. They were no where near as tasty as Weight Watchers dinners or Lean Cuisine meals (However, most of them are lower in calories and fat and higher in protein). I found the foods that required you to add water to be the worst tasting and I read similar comments on different online reviews. I am fairly picky however, when it comes to food, so do not take my word as fact.

-There are not as many foods to choose from as I would have liked. If you have a lot of weight to lose, you will probably get sick of eating the same foods over and over again.

-At around $300/month, it is rather expensive, especially considering you will still need to spend money on veggies, fruits and dairy products.

-Although the program helps you to understand proper portion sizes and gets you more accustomed to eating smaller, healthier and more frequent meals, you still may have trouble maintaining your weight loss when you discontinue the program. Nutrisystem meals are specially formulated to have just the right amount of calories, fats, sugars, fiber and protein - it might be difficult to emulate this diet when shopping on your own.

-If an item you order is out of stock, they will substitute a different item that doesn't necessarily have to be on your list. I received at least 15 substitutions, which were all things that I didn't like, such as split-pee soup. It wouldn't have been that bad if they were at least replaced with other things on my list, but they were things I purposely didn't order as I knew I wouldn't eat them. There were several notices provided with my shipment that claimed that the problem was in part due to changes they were making in the program and the high demand for their products. They gave the impression that this would not be as much of a problem in the future, but did not make any definite promises. The only way to avoid this situation completely would be to order ala-carte, which is more expensive.

-Finally, some people may benefit from the support and personal contact provided by meetings and one-on-one counseling sessions, such as those offered by Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig. While Nutrisystem does offer counseling sessions via the Internet and telephone, as well as discussion boards where you can converse with other people on the program, it is more impersonal than actual physical contact with another human being.

As you can see, the benefits outnumber the disadvantages, but for me the draw-backs nonetheless out-weighed the advantages. I simply could not stick to the program if I didn't like the foods, especially on a long term basis. I also don't have the extra money to waste on foods that I might not eat. However, I would suggest giving it a shot if you are at all interested. You might find that you like the meals more than I did, especially if you enjoy a wider variety of foods. You can always return foods that were not to your liking for a full refund, albeit minus the cost of shipping. However, beware that you may not receive all of the foods you order and that Nutrisystem has the authority to substitute any meal that they want.

I hope this gives you all some insight into the program and will help to make your decision easier if you are considering trying a commercial diet program such as Nutrisystem.

You may want to seek comfort by hearing his voice or seeing his face, but if you really want him back, you must back off for a while. 4. Treat yourself to a makeover. Get some new makeup and new clothes. Get a new hairstyle. If you've picked up a few pounds, start exercising and eating healthy. When you look good on the outside, you're going to start feeling better about yourself on the inside. By feeling good on the inside you will be confident and happy. When you're confident and happy, you will project this image to others. Nothing is more desirable to men than confidence. Your ex-boyfriend will definitely notice.

5. Be patient. At some point, your ex will contact you. Imagine his surprise when he sees the "new" you from step 4. He will probably be sorry that he broke up with you. Keep your physical contact with him to a minimum, if you do see him. Seeing you looking your best and seeing that you've become confident and happy will make him desire you. If you limit your physical contact with him, this will drive him crazy. Gallstones - 1 Million New Cases Each Year

INTRODUCTION: Gallstones are pieces of hard solid matter found in the gallbladder and can be as tiny as a grain of sand or as large as a golf ball, depending on how long they have been growing. They often have no signs and are routinely found by a routine x-ray, surgery, or autopsy.

They also may move around within bile, for example, from the gallbladder into the cystic or common duct. They are a common health problem worldwide and happen more frequently in women than men becoming more common with age in both males and females. More than 20 million Americans have them and approximately 1 million new cases are found per year.

SYMPTOMS: Gallstones can feel like chest pain caused by a heart attack and other serious conditions. Symptoms normally start after a large stone blocks the cystic duct or the common bile duct and usually do not return after the gallbladder has been removed. Approximately 80% of people do not have any signs for a number of years, if ever, particularly if the stones stay in the gallbladder.

If you have symptoms, you most likely will have mild pain in the pit of your stomach or in the upper right part of your belly. About 15% of people who have symptoms also have stones in the common bile duct.

Exactly how diet causes gallstone formation is not understood, but diets which are above normal in cholesterol and fat, and low in fiber may raise the risk of developing Them.

There are two basic types of gallstones. Pigmented (bilirubin) kinds are found most often in Persons with severe liver disease and persons with some blood disorders such as sickle cell anemia.

Cholesterol types are found most frequently in: Females over 20, especially pregnant women, and males over 60 years old, Persons on "crash diets" who lose a lot of weight rapidly, Patients who use certain drugs including birth control pills and cholesterol reducing agents, Native-Americans and Mexican-Americans.

TREATMENTS: Gallstones that do not create symptoms do not require treatment, However if they block a duct, they do. Surgery to remove the gallbladder (cholecystectomy) is the treatment of choice for stones that create moderate to severe pain or other signs. However, only 1 of 5 persons can have this treatment. Persons who have it often produce new stones after a few years. Half of these require treatment, with a cost to society of several billion dollars yearly.

Many novel approaches to treatment have been tried over the past few years, but surgical removal of the gallbladder (cholecystectomy) continues to be the most often used therapy. Non-surgical treatment includes pain drugs, antibiotics to fight infection, and a low-fat diet (when food can be tolerated).

A licensed medical professional should be consulted for diagnosis and treatment of any and all medical conditions.

CONCLUSION: Gallstones normally form in the gallbladder; however, they also can form anywhere there is bile: in the intrahepatic, hepatic, common bile, and cystic ducts. They form when cholesterol and other things found in bile make stones.

They can develop in many people without producing symptoms and do not create belching and bloating. Gallstones usually happen in adults between the ages of 20 and 50, and are more common in females in this age group.
